Mila and Jord — where do I even begin?
Their smiles were impossible to ignore, their laughter contagious, and the way they looked at each other? Pure light. ✨This engagement session felt like the perfect sneak peek into their elopement — full of joy, connection, and a kind of love that needs no explanation. Just felt.But one of my favourite moments?
Hearing Jord tell the story (her favourite story) of how she proposed to Mila. She lit up completely. You could see every ounce of love she poured into that moment — and it was magic to witness.So of course, I had to share it with you too (just from Mila’s perspective 😉) …“We went to Sydney to see Harry Styles! Jord surprised me with tickets for Christmas after I devastatingly couldn’t get any. We got to Sydney on the Friday and went for what I thought was just a nice walk through the Botanical Gardens overlooking the Sydney Harbor. Jord was clinging to our backpack for dear life and I thought she just weirdly wanted her spare shoes. We walked up to this cute little excluded bench seat looking at the Harbor bridge and I said “This is so cool” to which Jord replied “You know what would be cooler” and whipped out the ring. I was completely shocked and did not see it coming - even though a lot of things make sense now! About 30 seconds later it absolutely bucketed down rain and we got absolutely drenched. While looking through content to post, I came across this moment, which might seem insignificant to most, but for me, it meant everything.You see, this little guy has only met me three times, for a few hours {give or take}, and each time my one goal has been to make him feel safe.Safe to be his truest little self,
To explore & show me all his favourite things to do across the beautiful property he’s lucky enough to grow up on.What I didn’t expect, was that this little person would seek safety in my arms.When the neighbouring dog began barking, mum and dad were slightly further away than me, but nonetheless he took to my arms without hesitation.This truly was a moment that will forever mean so much to me,
