I had every intention of sharing my 2025 business

I had every intention of sharing my 2025 business wrapped… but honestly, this feels like a truer reflection of what my year actually looked like. 🫶🏻2025 taught me so much about myself, & about what really matters to me as a business woman, partner, sister, daughter, & friend.This year I was lucky enough to spend time with “clients” I hold a deep love for, people who feel more like family, whilst also being welcomed into starting new connections & relationships.Behind closed doors I also spent a lot of time quietly working through goals in my personal life.For the last 10 years, I’ve been stuck in a loop of late nights to get things done, used work trips as an excuse for a “couples holiday” & sacrificed being present for friends’ special moments to accommodate work…& all the while, I’ve held gratitude in my heart for every story I’ve been lucky enough to document, no matter the sacrifice.However, somewhere along the way, I realised, I didn’t know who I was if I wasn’t
Remi Jordan - “the photographer”.So in 2025, I gave myself permission to figure out how to simply be Remi.
The reliable friend.
The present partner.
The family member who shows up.This isn’t your traditional 2025 wrapped, but this is what the last few weeks of the year looked like for me… achieving my goal of finding what it means to simply be me, & if I’m being honest - what having a personal life looks like 😆🫶🏻This shift changed the way I see life.For the first time ever, I’ve discovered the enjoyment of documenting the slow, beautiful “mundaneness” of life.In 2026, I want to keep showing up for the people who invite me back into their lives, not just for a session, but for “mundane” moments.Cooking in the kitchen,

Chelsea & Santino 🕊️These two met with me, what feels like forever ago, to chat about their wedding…They had mood boards, big ideas & were SO excited to begin the creation of a celebration that feels entirely true to them (you could say I was jumping off my seat while they showed me everything… it’s going to be epic! 🤭).So, of course when it was time to plan their engagement session, honestly - it was easy!We needed no more than a beautiful loved one’s garden, Saint’s dad’s beloved car & their sweet love…
So basically just lots of what they already had : love 🤭🫶🏻I don’t need to say much more about these two, because if you know them, you know just how warm they each are, and how magic that energy is when they’re together.And if you don’t know them, trust that this session shows you all you need to know. 🤍Here’s to @chelseadichiera & @_ssssaint , I’m counting down the days with you both ✨
